Arcadia has established itself as a pioneer of Spanish food on the North-West side of Melbourne, an influential proponent of fresh local produce combined with top quality products imported from Spain.
The restaurant has been recognised for its delivery of top nosh by being included in the prestigious The Age Good Food Guide from 2011 to 2015 as well as receiving in 2016 two hats from the international guide: Gault & Millau.
The front of the house team, natives of Spain, skilfully led by Andres’ wife Ruth weave a welcoming spell while the decor transports diners to Spain.

Andrés, owner and chef of Arcadia Gastronomique, was born in Canary Islands and although an aussie by adoption, remains committed to the principles of traditional Spanish cuisine.”Spain is steeped in tradition and centuries-old customs and has taken its food culture to places it has historically colonised around the world” Andres explains… “In my restaurant I aim to bring a slice of Spain to customers.
His openness to new flavour mergers and techniques is a quality that gives his food a dash of extra flair.
